The aim of this course is to enhance students' reading and comprehension skills through various activities that involve critical thinking, discussions, and language-related tasks, including listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and review exercises.

Students are expected to:

1. complete assigned homework activities,
2. keep track of all notes and textbooks, and
3. prepare for upcoming discussions, quizzes, and other assigned activities.

Active participation 20%
Assignments and quizzes 30%
Final exam 50%
*In principle, the number of S grades awarded in FYE: Reading class will not exceed 10% of the class.
*To pass this class, students are required to attend a minimum of 9 out of 13 classes. It's important to note that merely attending 9 or more classes is not a sufficient condition for a passing grade.
