Theme
Understanding conflict and Peace:
Learning approaches that have been developed by practitioners working in zones of deadly conflict, high tension and “everyday” violence and how we might engage these perspectives and approaches in our practice as global citizens.
授業概要
Course
Outline
Theorists generally agree that manifestations of violence are interrelated and these relationships should be examined in order to understand and address the culture of violence in today’s world (Reardon, Reardon & Cabezudo, Galtung). The current complex of globalized violence has been countered in the peace learning community by the concept of a culture of peace.
