英米児童文学の主要作品を熟読すると同時に、英米児童文学史を再確認しながら、児童文学研究の基本を身につける。

全員が次回扱う作品と、テキストの該当箇所(または配布されたプリント)を読み、作品とテキスト(またはプリント)の記述それぞれについて印象に残ったことなどを考えておいて、授業時に意見交換ができるようにする。授業で学んだことを含め、作品についてA4用紙1枚程度にまとめ、次回授業時に提出する。

出席、授業への参加、課題の提出状況、レポートの完成度によって、総合的に評価する。

課題(試験やレポート等)に対する フィードバックの方法 Feedback methods on assignments

課題は、毎回提出した次の回に、授業内で返却する。期末レポートは、全体的な講評と共に模範例を紹介する。
