|
|
We will read poems, essays, and short stories in English dealing with the interrelations among nature, culture, and literature. We will discuss our thoughts about how the readings relate to problems facing our world today, and how we might contribute to dealing with these problems.
|

|
|
The aim of this course is to promote students' abilities in reading, discussing, and writing in English, and to promote their ability to think about world issues involving nature, culture, and literature, and to consider ways in which literature, the humanities, and personal action might contribute to these world challenges.
