英語劇の舞台上演に取り組むことで、高度な技術を含む演劇の諸側面について実践的且つ総合的に理解を深める。

到達目標
Aim/goal
12月に開催予定の “Seisen Fringe Festival” で舞台上演することを目指して、As You Like Itに取り組む。基本的に毎回授業の最初にウォームアップとして発声練習とストレッチを行い、パフォーマンスに取り組む身体的・精神的態勢を整える。また、戯曲が舞台上演されるまでの過程を、個々人が其々役割を担うことで体験的に学習すると共に、関連資料の読解により理論的理解も深める。As You Like Itへの取り組みとしては、上演予定場面の脚本を訳読した上で配役その他の役割分担（振り付け・舞台美術・衣装・大道具・小道具等）を決定する。また、各場面の出演者や担当する役割に応じて小グループを編成し、グループワークを中心に準備を進める。ディスカッションや舞台稽古も行う。この科目の内容は演劇演習と共通である。

実際に身体を動かしながら英語で演劇体験を積み、実践的に学習する。舞台上演することを目指して、グループワークを通して上演をひたすらめざす。Students need to understand they may have to give up personal time (lunchtime, after classes etc.) at more intense stages of preparation.

夏休み中に道具や背景幕の作成を含む練習スケジュールが入る。後期には放課後練習が入る。Students are expected to fulfill any duties and roles to the best of their ability. 
評価方法
Evaluation
出席状況、授業への取り組み、制作やリハーサルへの参加、12月の上演、及びレポートを総合的に評価する。戯曲を舞台上演する上で分担した役割に関わらず、各自が如何に責任を果たし、共同作業に積極的に関われたか、という点に重点が置かれる。 
履修前提要件
Prerequisites
「学習活動【授業後】」の部分に記した、夏休み中の練習、後期の放課後練習に参加できること。A willingness to work together and work very very very hard. A passion to want to improve yourself and to work with others to improve them. A passion to challenge yourself. A passion to create something as a group.
人数制限のあるクラスのため、初回の授業に必ず出席すること。動きやすい服装で参加すること（スカート不可）。共同作業が基本となるため、特別な事情のない限り遅刻・欠席をしないよう注意すること。12月の清泉フリンジ・フェスティヴァルまでの一週間の毎平日放課後とフリンジ・フェスティヴァル当日（18時頃まで）の予定を空けておくこと。戯曲の舞台上演を実際に体験してみたい学生、責任を持って積極的に共同作業に関われる学生を歓迎する。楽器を演奏できる学生や音響、照明、ダンス、振り付け、舞台美術等に興味のある学生も歓迎する。Students should watch movie versions of 'As You Like It' to better understand the story and characters. Students should read the script of As You Like It given by the teacher, again and again.
