Outline

1960年代を代表するイギリスのライトファンタジー作家Roald Dahlの代表作MatildaとCharlie and the Chocolate Factory を精読する。グループ発表を中心とした演習形式だが、前後期各１回の授業内講演と数回の講義を通して、作家自身について、また、Dahl作品の主要な挿絵画家Quentin Blake、絵本、作品の時代背景などについても理解を深める。適宜、映像作品の紹介も行なう。
