Aim/goal
1st Semester: the aims of the class are to work on performative movement and gestures, and clear pronunciation. Students will also be provided with the chances to be familialized with the basic ideas of drama and acting, by building slowly from individual Recitations, Dramatizations and Performances in groups using existing texts and scripts. This will be based on a Present-Practice-Perform format.
2nd Semester: the aims of the class will be to create students' original skits for the Fringe Festival (early December). Students will be expected to use skills etc. developed in 1st Semester. 2nd Semester will follow a more task-based format in groups.
