授業概要
Course
Outline
Building on the skills developed in the spring semester, this course focuses on producing longer sections of academic writing in English and using English-language sources appropriately. Students will practise integrating citations from English research, developing arguments, and writing sections such as introductions, literature reviews, and discussions. Emphasis is placed on clarity, coherence, and accurate use of academic conventions.

Students will work on applying these skills directly to their own research projects and will receive continuous feedback on their writing.

Feedback methods on assignments
Students will receive feedback through a combination of instructor comments, peer review, and in-class discussion. Written feedback will be provided on drafts to address content, structure, language use, and academic conventions. Peer-review activities will encourage students to reflect on their own writing by evaluating the work of others. In addition, individual consultations may be offered to provide more detailed guidance and to support revision. Students are expected to actively engage with feedback and apply it to subsequent drafts.
履修前提要件
Prerequisites
Students are expected to be confident users of English, as the course involves a substantial amount of reading and writing in English, including the analysis of academic texts and the production of extended written assignments.
